Why this integration matters

Every pastor we talk to has the same rhythm on Monday. Open Planning Center. Look at Sunday. Check who was where. If assessment results live somewhere else, you have to remember to go get them, and the whole thing quietly dies.

Putting results directly in each volunteer's PCO notes means the next time you tap their profile, the results are right there. No second window. No second app.

What actually syncs

When a volunteer finishes an assessment, we write their DISC blend, their top spiritual gifts, their top three team matches with percent confidence, and a link to their full results PDF into their PCO notes. The Personal Portrait summary shows up as its own note so it does not get buried.

If the volunteer is not in Planning Center yet, we create their profile for you. If they are, we match them by email and update the existing record. You never have to reconcile duplicates.

How the connection works

On your pastor dashboard, head to Integrations. Click Connect Planning Center. Log in with your PCO credentials, authorize the app, and pick the workspace. That is the whole handshake. From that point on, every new assessment result syncs automatically.

You can also backfill. If you have three months of results in YourTeam already, we can push them all into PCO in a single job. Ping us and we will run it for you.

Real ministry scenarios

Sunday morning, someone new signs up to serve on the guest team. On Monday, they take your branded assessment. By Wednesday, when your First Impressions director opens Planning Center to see what new volunteers came in, the DISC blend and top spiritual gifts are already in the notes.

That director now knows this person is a high I, has the gift of hospitality, and would thrive on greeting. They text them Wednesday night and invite them to the next huddle. Every pastor we work with has some version of that story. The integration is what makes it happen automatically.

What if you use another ChMS

We started with Planning Center because it is what most of the churches we work with use, including all of the ARC plants we have onboarded. If you use Breeze, ChMS, Church Community Builder, or Rock, the assessment still runs the same way and results still land in your pastor dashboard. Direct integrations to other systems are on our list.

In the meantime, you can export the results PDF for any volunteer with one click and drop it in whatever tool you use.

Security and permissions

We use PCO's official OAuth flow. You grant us access to the People module only. We never touch giving, check-ins, or services. Any pastor or staff member you invite to your YourTeam dashboard inherits the connection, so you set it up once.

If you disconnect, we stop syncing immediately and your PCO data stays put. Everything already written into notes stays there, because it belongs to your church.
